Why this matters
Different platforms verify different things. A photo check may help establish that the person resembles their submitted images. An ID process may verify additional identity attributes. Neither automatically proves relationship status, motives, financial honesty, health status or future behaviour.
What to do next
Use verification as one signal inside a larger decision. It can reduce uncertainty, but it should not override contradictory behaviour, financial pressure or a boundary concern.
Dating guidance should reduce uncertainty without shame, false certainty, pressure or fake urgency. Safety guidance is not withheld behind a paid feature.
